Yosemite Nation Park, 6.14.11
This is a long exposure shot of Yosemite with a Moonbow. Moonbows can only occur there when they have a clear sky, the moon is high enough, bright enough and there is enough water flowing through the falls to create a high mist. I happen to be there on the perfect night for all. It was clear, a full moon and this year the water is flowing at a higher rate and longer than most the locals I talked to have ever seen. I didn’t Photoshop this, the reflection was actually there and so is the moonbow!
